Role & Responsibilities

  • Administer JIRA/Confluence/JIRA Service Desk cloud version should have a experience in Migration and consolidation of Multiple JIRA instances.
  • Work with our Program and Project Management Office, software development and support stakeholders in designing, developing and maintaining workflows.
  • Work closely with the relevant teams to optimize workflows and ensure necessary data is accessible and clean.
  • Develop metrics, dashboards, reports and advanced filters to provide leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports.
  • Monitor and coordinate all JIRA system operations, including security procedures and liaison with corporate IT, security and compliance teams.
  • Coordinate major/minor Atlassian software installations, upgrades and patch management prefer to have JIRA Administrator or Atlassian System Administrator Certification, Scripting for DevOps processes.
  • Work in fast paced environment.
  • Agile methodology experience preferred (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and use of JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with team members to gather and understand business requirements and translate into optimal Jira solutions.
  • Develop custom scripts/ Rest API’s calls to pull data for metrics reporting.
  • Developing and deploying custom plugins for Jira.
  • Active listening means paying close attention to who you are communicating with by engaging with them, asking questions and rephrasing.
  • Experience using the right appropriate communication method.
  • Being successful as an independent contributor
